Long-Lasting Thermal Paper Rolls
Choose thermal paper by the life of the printed record and the conditions it will face. OceanLink supplies long-life grades as finished rolls in 57mm, 80mm, 102mm, 110mm and other custom widths for wholesale and OEM orders.
5+ year image-retention grades available, subject to the selected grade specification and its stated storage conditions.

Printed-image retention
5+ year grades are available. Confirm the selected grade, image-retention rating and storage conditions when requesting a quotation.
Coating selection
Top-coated and other available thermal grades are reviewed against the application. Long image life does not automatically mean top-coated paper.
Handling resistance
Request water, oil or scratch resistance separately. Availability and test conditions depend on the selected grade.
Roll format
57mm, 80mm, 102mm, 110mm and other custom widths; confirm length, outer diameter, core inside diameter and winding direction.
OEM presentation
Custom back print, cores, roll counts, carton marks and private-label packing can be reviewed with the order specification.
Chemical requirements
State the required BPA, BPS or phenol specification. Confirm documents for the exact paper grade and batch before purchase.

Image life, shelf life and storage
Printed-image life and unused-roll shelf life are different specifications. Ask for both ratings, the reference test method, and the temperature, humidity, light and contact-material conditions stated by the grade supplier. A 5+ year image-life grade is not a promise of the same unused-roll shelf life or unrestricted outdoor durability.

Questions before ordering
Does 5+ years describe the printed image or unused rolls?
It describes the requested printed-image retention grade. The shelf life of unused paper must be confirmed separately, along with the specified storage conditions.
Do I need top-coated paper for a long-life receipt?
Not necessarily. Image retention, coating and handling resistance are separate grade properties. Select them against the printer and the intended use.
Can I request BPA-free paper?
Yes. State the chemical requirement in the inquiry, and request the documents for the actual grade and batch. A test on a different paper grade is not evidence for the quoted material.
